The other day someone posted a comment on one of my Facebook posts that was a little bit negative. It’s not the first time either. Sometimes it’s hard to understand why some people spread their negativity, especially in an environment where people are trying to improve and feel better about themselves. In that instance, one of my followers responded to that individual that this was a place for positivity, but to no avail. The person just wanted to spread their negativity. I started thinking, maybe some people just can’t help it. Maybe some people can’t stop spreading their negativity. So I decided to write this article for those of you out there who want to know how to spread positive energy. Not negative energy.
In the comments below, I’d love to know how you spread positive energy.
Pay It Forward
When someone does something nice for you, return the favor to someone else. If at a restaurant, for example, and someone in front of you buys your meal, do the same for the person behind you. Or you can start the chain yourself!
Most of the time people just need someone to listen to them. They don’t always want solutions or advice, so just be someone they can talk to.
Spread positive energy by complimenting as much as you can. Be careful not to sound too flattering or shallow. This only makes you come off fake or insincere.
Let Go Of Negative Energy
Sometimes we radiate negative energy just by holding on to it. Even though you aren’t consciously spreading it, your energy is still affecting others around you. Do your best to let go of it. Forgive yourself, forgive others, let the past be in the past and let today be a new beginning.

Leave Notes Of Appreciation
This is a great way to spread positive energy in your home. My wife and I do this for each other at times. She’ll hide a note saying how much she appreciates and loves me and I’ll do the same. I usually stick notes in her purse or on her laptop screen. You can leave notes for your kids in their lunch box too!
Spread Positive Energy On Social Media
Don’t be one of those people who gripe and complain every chance they get on social media. Instead, be a source of inspiration for those who come across your posts. Come up with your own messages or share them from your favorite sources. Creating Self Confidence always has inspirational posts that you can share on Facebook and Pinterest.
Seek To Help
Whether you are in the office or at home, ask people if there is anything you can help them with. This simple gesture shows that you care and you are willing to spend your time making their life a little bit better. An important part of living a more positive life is helping to make other people around you more positive.
Spreading positive energy is easy, but not many people actually take the time to do it. Spread positive energy every day if you can.
What do you do, or will you do to spread positive energy? Let me know in the comments below.
